Meet Stephanie

Author. Friend. Storyteller. Striving to be brave every day.

A storyteller since childhood, Stephanie M. Braun began crafting her stories at the family dinner table. The middle child of a large family, she relished this opportunity to relay every minute of her day, until she hit about fourth grade – when her parents told her she had to share her news last so the rest of her siblings could get a chance to speak. It was her first lesson in editing.

These days stories remain a major part of her life, as she aims to write adventures that center on connection and found family. When she's not writing she can be found hiking through the Middle Tennessee woods, looking for the magical in the mundane, and seeking to be brave every day. She and her husband and children live in Nashville, Tennessee with their dog, Chaucer. Their home is filled with creativity, lots of dinnertime storytelling, and never quite enough houseplants.

Wren Winters needs to shake up her life, but murder isn’t exactly what she had in mind…

Red, White, and Clues is a whodunit that follows Wren Winters as she sets out to solve the mystery of who killed a newlywed groom during a Fourth of July fireworks show. It's the perfect pick if you like mysteries you can read poolside, suspense with a dash of humor and flirting, or anything that pays playful homage to a true giant of the genre (by which I obviously mean the 1985 cult classic Clue).

RW&C is whodunit meets romcom, and ideal for folks who like the Knives Out movies -- but wish there was just a bit more kissing in them.
